  • Method of restoration and hardening of steel rotor blades of wet steam stages of a steam turbine

Patent for invention № 2518036

Scope of use

The invention relates to the field of thermal and nuclear power engineering and can be used in condensation and heating turbines during the repair of rotor blades (RL) of wet steam stages that are subject to erosion destruction or other types of operational damage.

During operation, radar lines of wet-steam stages of steam turbines are affected by various destructive factors, in particular, impact with water droplets, the influence of a corrosive environment, and alternating cyclic loads. As a result, RL of steam turbines are subject to corresponding destruction, requiring their periodic restoration and hardening.

Replacing damaged radars of steam turbines is a laborious and costly undertaking. In this regard, the development of new methods that reduce the labor intensity and cost of restoring damaged radar tubes of steam turbines is an urgent task.

The main requirements for RL of steam turbines after restoration are the preservation of their original geometric and dimensional characteristics, a high level of mechanical and operational properties (strength, hardness, fatigue strength, erosion and corrosion resistance, etc.).
